 second place! Thanks, guys! </edit>This is my entry for *Shutter-Scene's lyric contest. Lady by Regina Spektor This photograph is my interpretation of the song, "Lady" by Regina Spektor. Although the song is about Billie Holiday, it has a different meaning for me. It feels like a woman who experienced the harsh realities of life and all she a can do about it is sing of her miseries and smoke her worries away. "lady sing the blues so well as if she mean it as if it's hell down here in the smoke filled world where the jokes are cold, they don't laugh at jokes they laugh at tragedies..."
